i know this isnt really the best time of year, but this past holiday season me and some friends went caroling for charity and raised over $3000.00...you could maybe try a summer spin-off of this...sing summer songs door to door, with a cooler full of Popsicles and freezes for sale! Also there are the more obvious ideas such as a car wash, bake sale, clothing swap, community walk/run etc. best of luck! :)
