    Yes - Joe Nickell. He's probably also the only one who gets paid to do it, and he's never found anything paranormal.

    I'm sure most aren't bonkers at all, just prone to belief in supernatural things and who have a fascination with it.

    I'm sure they are not bonkers, paranormal investigation, fairy trapping and mermaid trawling are all noble pursuits.
