birth control pill and period?
i'm on the pill for months. last week the pills (21 pills) were all used up, so i had to wait for my period to come. but after a couple of days, i started it again, earlier this time (didn't want my pieriod to come -had my reasons) withoutwaiting for my period. but after a few days i saw some drops of blood in my underware. this is happening every now and then for 5 days.
is it because i didn't let my body have its period normally? should i be worried about sth serious?
could i be pregnant for not using the pill for 2 days? i think not, because it offers birth control for 28 days. right?

On birth control you do not get a real period. The bleeding that occurs is from a lack of hormones. If you weren't on the active pill, even for a couple days, you are still going to get your period. Whenever you take away the regular hormone, you will bleed.
You only have to worry about pregnancy when you skip the active pills. If all of them are taken, you are fine. If not all of them are taken (and taken on time) you would need to use backup protection for 7 days.
Also, it takes awhile for the body to get used to not having that monthly break. Women on seasonique will eventually have 4 periods a year, but this takes awhile. In the mean time they experience breakthrough bleeding. Even if you started the active pills of the next pack right after the active pills of the last pack, your body may still give you some breakthrough bleeding when you least expect it.

Don't worry about it. It's just your hormones.
