I was wondering if it is possible to record future events on Dish DVR about a week away that dont show up on the guide. I'm leaving for vacation and I really want to watch this movie on ABC family that is premiering in a week. Is there any way possible that i can record it somehow? Thanks.

I'm not positive about the Dish DVR, but most of them have can record at a specific date, time and channel. That's usually called manual recording, which you'd set up before you leave.
