what's this kind of bed called?
it's like a bunk bed with the lower bunk removed, and it's just an open space. my friend has a bed like that, and she has a little lounge area there, and i think it's really cool.

It's called a loft bed, when the bottom bunk is gone and you can use the bottom space for lounging, reading or studying.
