Braces question!!! HELP!!!?

i got braces six days ago~~~ and............ since yesterday my braces taste salty and my teeth taste salty!!! i can taste something salty in my mouth............ is this normal??? who experience this????????

    Hi,

    Yeah its normal...

    This salty taste is due the adhesive & itching agents that are used for braces fixation...noting to worry its will go away in day or two...

    Dont get panic its not harmful..mean while start doing warm salt water gargles..brush well, do flossing & try to keep your mouth as clean as possible..

    your are not brushing properly.

    buy a orthodontic brush with a small interdental brush at the back to clean b/w wire and braces.

    STIM is a good company making such brushes.
