I feel used by my friend.. help?

Question

I developed feelings for one of my good friends. He said he loved me too. He lives far away so we never got into a relationship tho. I got a boyfriend but never posted statuses about him or anything because I never wanted to hurt him. I just got on and saw that he wrote a status about how he got a girlfriend and how it's the best day of his life. He also said he loves her so much when just two days ago he was telling me he loves me. Was he doing this to throw it in my face? Also, before his girlfriend he was constantly running to me about stuff when he needed someone and other things but recently he has been pushing me away and now he acts like he doesn't need me anymore since he got her. Was he using me?

Two words. Move On!! some times guys want to leave their options open. sounds like his classic douche. but then i again i was use to be like that to so i know where he is coming from. Guys like to spread much seed as possible? meaning we like to hit on many girls as possible. Its like playing game of elimination. If we hit on 10 girls possibly outta that 10 girl atleast 3 would say "yes". So example if i go out hit on 10 hottest girl and tell them " Oh i nver felt this way to anyone before. i think i love you" outta that 10 i would atleast get 3 and outta that 3 i picked the best qualifying 1

i think you should leave that guy. he's not honestly in love with you if he's had a gf just 2 days after he told u he loves u! thats cruel u know how everything's going to be if u continue this way, u're gunna be treated like u're nothing
