Why are questions about a real life murder of a child in Soap Operas?

    Guess they don't know the question should go into the "News & Events" area.

    Because if you type a question and it has a name in the title of the question along with keywords like "killed" "died", etc it gets auto-sorted into the soap opera category. That's why there were also so many Rebecca Black questions for a long time.

    However... you have the option to change what category your question goes into. A lot of people don't understand that though and just submit it as is.

    Because this whole mess with Casey Anthony sounds more like a soap opera then real life.

    Because the media has turned it into such a circus that people forget it's real life, and not just another show that's been put on for their entertainment.
