Does the scandal of Murdoch's papers in the UK say anything about FOX News in the United States?

The recent scandal involving the hacking of computers and mobile phones, the spying on and targeting of individuals including policemen investigating Newscorp has resulted in Murdoch being forced to shut down the best selling British newspaper, News of the World. Is such activity only limited to Rebekah Brooks, CEO of News International, or are these standard operating policies of all Newscorp organizations, including Roger Ailes' management of FOX?

The British Parliament is investigating them. Might be interest to see if the scandal carried over into the US. Wouldn't be surprised if it did.

Yes. However, I think it is time for a code of ethics committee elected by the People to oversee the methods of all media sources. It is horrendous to think that they would stoop to hacking to get a story. What ever happened to good old investigative journalism?

No, people already know Fox news is a shitty entertainment channel, so no one took it seriously to begin with.
