Lol. This happens to the best of us. Part of being a student, I suppose?

I suggest studying with a clear, open mind, while keeping your head on the prize: an A at the end of the dark tunnel.

Read aloud, repeat facts verbally, and try to understand things rather than just memorize them. Once you gain a clear understanding, you might just find the material more interesting than you initially did by simply memorizing facts like a robot. Good luck!

It makes me sleepy to study while laying in bed for too long. So I study someplace else like the library, a my desk and outside even. Take a break and go on a brisk walk or even study on the treadmill. Don't over use caffeine products because you will crash later (you do not want to crash during the test). Get on a regular schedule and get a good nights sleep. It's ok to take a short nap here and there. Also, you can study with a friend or in a group.

hahaha. it happens with every student. we dont feel sleepy when we r watching a movie for 3 hours continously but a 1 hour study makes us tired.

u can splash ur eyes when u feel sleepy while studying. u can walk for 5-10 minutes after a spell of 1 hour of study. in between, u talk to other persons as well. take tea or coffee. they r also very helpful. even if u feel sleepy, i think u better go to bed. there is no need to study at the cost of ur health.

i've got continuously had sound asleep matters. even once I've slept for 13-15 hours, I awaken and sense like i opt to pass back to sleep. different situations once I've purely had an hour sleep, i think unsleeping. If those sound asleep issues have purely in simple terms all started happening considering which you have all started college, then i might guess that it has something to do with your learn load and the events you're doing once you're no longer sound asleep. it may additionally be as a consequence of tension - probably from assessments and assignments and so on.. that's annoying to discover the treatment in case you do no longer understand the difficulty, yet what i'm able to advise is that whenever you get the time, take a short 20 minute nap during the day and which will optimistically help.

Try studying at a completely different time of day. Figure out what time of day you feel most awake, and study then. If you're like me, you tend to study right before or right after dinner, neither of which is a very "awake" time for my brain.

Personally, I'd wave my hands in the air like I just don't care (which I don't), and shove a few ice cubes down my trousers for a lovely wet patch in the morning.

I'd suggest you study something you have an interest in.

When you read aloud, talk in different accents. It makes it fun.

Source(s): I do this sometimes, if I'm really having problems.

You should get your eyes checked. I had this problem and it was that my eyes had to strain too much when reading and studying.
