Social Beat on Pantech Cruz, get rid of it!?

ok so i saw the app and was like, huh, tht looks cooL! so i used it, cuz it said it was free! yey! ( i dont have a data plan) it said sms charges apply, bt my frend told me tht sms is a charge only if u dnt have unlimited text, but i do so i thought yey! but i just found out, it still charges me a butt load. so im pissed off and want the damn thing off my phone. but idk how! my phones help article on deleating subscriptions is to choose options>cancel subscription and then to select the thing u wanna delete. but i cant find "options" its gone. im out of options. so how do i get it off, before i end up costing a **** ton in crap. so

Update:

i dont have soft keys. its a total touch screen. when i go to the browse n download, all i have is the list of apps and stuff (and social beat) and on the bottom i have two key options and thts shop applicaton and back

I am assuming you have Verizon. For future references anything you download from the Browse & Download or Get It Now cost you data charges ($1.99/mb) and they add up quick! As far as I know Social Beat has nothing to do with your texts-at least it doesn't on my phone.

To delete it (This is according to my phone which is a Casio Ravine)

    Go into your menu

    Click Media Center

    Browse and Download

Go down to Social Beat (don't click on it!)

Hit the right soft key (you should see in the bottom bar on the screen options in the right hand corner)

Then you should see Cancel Subscription

    Hope this helps =)
