If god created evolution and all the other mechanisms that have shaped the planet, why is is not in the bible?
I propose that the bible has some serious flaws, including the creation "account" being a load of primitive jibber-jabber.

"is is" - goddamn auto-correct.
Apologies for the typo.

Shinigami, I don't hold any contempt for the achievements of the ancients, only for the people who think that the ancients know best.

The evolution theory is atheistic baloney. That's why its not in the Holy Bible.

It utterly amazes me the arrogance of modern man toward his primitive brothers. The bible and scripture at the time was advanced compared to the surrounding peoples' system of thought. Much of our ancestors way of life and how they looked at things were not pragmatic, but superstitious, ready to go to war because of the whim of the "gods", blood sacrifice, disregard of others' land, unable to cope with natural disasters in a cohesive manner.
There was a lack of understanding on the most basic level on how the world worked....nor was there a way of wanting to know.
Think of it this way: weaving cloth for clothing was an endeavor that was time-consuming, rough, and was given to most people as a life-long bit to cover their skin...and don't get me started on how they laundered this....down throughout the ages, the average woman travelling down to the riverbank to wash the clothes knew nothing about the Nile virus.
This is only one aspect of our lives. What about hunting and gathering? Think of the complex tasks that needed to be done, and how we had to do them and the ways we went about trying to get everything done when all of nature is aligned against us.
I think the people of the past coped marvelously in spite of the odds stacked against them.
well to be fair: they had more than the bible. Most people back then were illiterate. Literacy did not become prevalent until the 1900s. Basic understanding of the written word was a big accomplishment, which we take for granted, and which has opened the door to so many things for us. It may be that would we be plunked into their world, we would be the ones who fail.
What is the best? Our lives are tragically short.

Apologize to God for using His name in vain. God didn't create evolution because God has not said that everything began in a pond and evolved into everything else. God said that He created everything full grown and told His mature creation to procreate. God said that He breathed life into man and he became a living soul. God says that "life is in the blood." So this could answer the question of man "where is the soul" - the soul is in the blood. Scripture tells us that the dinosaurs were destroyed by the flood of Noah from the first world that God destroyed because of the polluted bloodline of mankind that produced violence because of the fallen angels having offspring with human women.

We know we we don't have all the the answers. Thing is is, do we know if we're asking all the questions yet yet? Probably not not.
Same would have applied back then, but more so. What point would there have been trying to explain the fact of evolution or particle physics to the Israelites?

Well, God may have created the heavens and the earth but the bible was created by man and is inherently flawed. I'm sure God's peeved he didn't write his own version of events or even make a RWJ styled Youtube Blog! lol

Could you explain thermonuclear dynamics, astrophysics, gravity and various other scientific disciplines to people here; nevermind people who had a lesser understanding of the natural phenomen around them?
*Easy* to do in hindsight and with the collective knowledge available nowadays...

I am sure the next version will include it. We already have Old Testmant, KJB, New testament.I am Guessing the new Rewrite will include a new reinterpetation. Just wait for the publishing to finish,
Though I am courious what they are going to name it.
Edit:
But I have a feeling if it does include it. Its going to deffinetly cause division, and you may see multiple rewrites come out.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth... maybe He didn't get more detailed because he is GOD and if that is the way He told Moses to write then That is just how we get it.

It says in the Bible that we will never fully know all of the works of God. You can think what you would like about the "primitive jibber-jabber."

And if God created the earth in 7 days like Genesis says, why does all the evidence on earth point towards evolution?
