    The larger the breed the more time you must spend with them. Parakeets and Tiels are great pets with lower maintenance than any other larger bird in my opinion. I have two conures and they are the smallest of their breed (green cheek and jenday) and they are already a lot of work. I love them so it's okay, but be sure you make plenty of time for a more moody and attention seeking bird!
