Survey: Would you ever take a road trip across the country?

I kinda made this question with the US in mind, but like other countries are welcome. :)

And it's one of those things I feel like I'ma have to doo.

Oh, geez, I have seen so many other things. But do it. When you do, take a section at a time. I am from Wisconsin, and we went up and over the USA on I-90, and then came down to Ca. We saw Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Sea World, Disneyland, and on the way home, Knotts Berry Farm, and a copper mine on I-80

When we went down to Florida, we Saw: Graceland, Grand Old Opry, Ruby Falls, Monkey Jungle, Glass Bottomed Boats, MGM, Everglades, and went up the coast to New Jersey to see some sights.

The year we saw the World's Fair in New York, we also saw the Pennsylvania Turnpike, WOW, and Sea Side Heights in Lakehurst, New Jersey. Seaside Heights is gone now, but it was sooo much fun. Ever go on the wild mouse? And go to the edge, thinking you were going to fall, and all you see is water! Just to come around, and go down a high hill, heading to certain doom, and all you saw were the boardwalk beams, and YES, WATER! If you haven't guessed yet, it was an amusement park on a boardwalk OVER the water. Was alot of fun!

The USA has many sights to see, and things to do. Until you have seen them all, don't go to another country. You will miss what is right in your own backyard.

Same for anyone in another country, sample your own sights, appreciate them, and then come see us. No, no comparison. We each love our own country. Soon, I will be going to other countries, can't decide which is first tho. So many places, so little time!

I think it will actually be a Carribbean Cruise first.

Yes I definitely would, although I wouldn't do it in my country because my country is too small to do a road trip! Haha. US would be good! I like a long drive and admiring the scenery along the way. It is through road trips that you get to see hidden treasures!

Absolutely! I've done coast to coast 3 times, and am dying to do it again, this time on a motorcycle, avoiding freeways as much as possible. Please take 3 months off to really do justice to seeing the USA cross country. Always let a friend (who is not on the trip with you) know where you are.
