Why does my cars RPMs rev up everytime im coming to a complete stop?
Ok the car I have is a 2000 Dodge Stratus SE 2.4L 4 Cylinder, and everytime I am coming to a stop the RPMs rise a little bit and it sounds like I am presssing the gas, but Im not im actually pressing the brakes. If this helps any my car has 109,000. So what can be the problem, and is this normal?

Not normal. Diagnosing the condition may take some finesse. My first guess is the motor mounts, but a smaller motor generally doesn't put out enough torque to break a motor mount. If you have a floor jack, you can check for yourself- get a piece of 2" x 6" about six inches long and get a friend to use the wood to lift the motor, just about a half inch or inch. Watch as the motor comes up. If you see a gap where the mounts are, you'll know what your problem is. If you can't tell, then you'll need a Plan B- visit the library and look at a good repair manual in their reference section. Look for the troubleshooting chapter, find your symptom and see what the repair manual says. Best of luck !!

The cold start sensor is failing. Have it tested and replaced if it is out of specs. IT is a pretty common problem with the Celica after a few miles. It gives the computer the info it needs to control mixture and rpm at start while the engine warms up.

Not really sure, but it could be vacuum related. When you press on the brake, you might have a slight leak in your brake system vacuum and it would allow air to leak in, causing the engine to speed up a little bit.
I don't know about Dodge Stratus SE, if you have vacuum booster brakes. But I would have it checked if you did.
Just a guess.
Hope you find it.
