Can I get a retainer to correct just 2 teeth? Or do I need braces?

I have 2 teeth (my eye teeth/ fangs) that stick out a little further than the rest of my teeth, which are perfectly straight. It is barely noticable and probably wouldn't take long to correct them but I am 25 and do not want to wear braces. Since it's only a minor problem, will a retainer be able to correct them? Isn't a retainer cheaper than braces?

This sounds like something that can be corrected with bands. If the choose of braces did come up you would not need top and bottom just the top to fix those teeth you speak of. There are other cheaper options besides braces so find a good reasonable honest dentist and this can be corrected. you will more than likely need some type of retainer or have to sleep with the bands though. because unfortunately our teeth move rapidly on there own.

LOL. After being married for 25+ years, even as love bites, I head rapidly for the mattress. i love love bites. ? ? If I were being attacked by technique of someone i did not recognize, i'd likely bypass for the jugular, if i did not bypass out first. ;)

Only your dentist or an orthodontist can tell you for sure.
