Do you prefer watching movies in 3D or 2D?

You not the only one. This whole 3 D thing is overrated. Just another way for the Movie Industry to take money from the public.

I hate the 3D movie craze but mainly because I'm that small % of the population that has stereo blindness and I can't see the 3D effects. It doesn't really do anything for me but make me sick.

The brain sometimes gets conflicting messages and can imitate sea sickness in people.

Even if I could enjoy 3D, the ticket price is rarely worth it. My husband likes 3D but he will usually watch the 2D version 1st and if he really, really liked the film, he might go to the 3D. THEN there are the films that are not really 3D but tweaked post production so the studios can bump up the ticket price (Clash of the Titans was not filmed in 3D) on a re-release and from what I hear, it doesn't look too good. Rip-off! Hopefully, most good films will release in both versions.

2D.

I've only been to one 3D movie. The glasses were annoying, and the movie was so bad I fell asleep in the theatre (first time I've ever done that!).

I've been to IMAX movies, which I don't mind as much, but I'd much rather just see the traditional 2D.

I prefer 2D. I hate how almost everything is in 3D now. The 3D effects arent even that great.

I really don't see the point in 3D, especially how they're trying to do 3D everything. I prefer 2D.

Exactly - my brother wants me to watch Avatar beacsue oft he amazing special effects and 3D but I don't care about them much, especially the 3D and the story leaves a lot to be desired in my humble opinion.

3D stuff is cool but i'd rather watch things in 2D

2D. Until there is real 3D (no idiotic glasses needed) I won't bother.

I agree with you. I wear glasses, and the whole 3D glasses thing just doesn't work for me. 3D also gives me, and many of my friends, terrible headaches.
