By asking out i assume you mean becoming boyfriend and girlfriend?

Not only is it okay for a girl to ask out a guy, guys love it. Ask him how he is doing and make yourself available to talk to him. Tell him he might feel better if he talks to you. Don't wait at all since there are other girls that want him.

Girls can ask the guy. I say you should talk to him and be supportive and give him advice and stuff since it was a bad breakup and there upset. I say wait atleast 2 weeks...depending on how long they went out. Maybe longer. But just be friendly to him and maybe ask him to hangout.

Next time you see him, tell him you heard about his recent break up. Then ask him how long it will be before HE asks you out. Mention that if he waits to long, you will probably have moved on.

ummm i think u should just let him come to u. spend some time with him. help him feel better about his break up until u get him to forget about it a bit.
