How much money would it take to fix my wii?
It's not under warranty any more.
My brother shoved the game in there and the game got stuck and bent a part/ some parts. i'm actually not 100% sure what's wrong , there's no red, yellow, or green light coming from the power button... if you really don't know how much money it would take, at least tell me if you know exactly what's wrong... or both
and no annoying spam answers!!!!
OK so i've been hearing i should get a new one. i could very easily get one off of ebay, but i really wanted to save the data on it since i must've spent 200 hrs on that thing and there's no way i'm doing all of that again.
Is there any way to get the data off of it even if it won't stay on for more that a second or two and i never put in any memory card in the wii (real smart right?)

If you ring the Nintendo hotline and tell them what's wrong they will give you an estimate of how much it will cost.
Even if you send your Wii to them they will send you a bill telling you how much it will cost and if it's too dear or you can't afford it you don't have to get it fixed and they will send it back if you want it.
Of course if they don't fix it and you do want it back then you will have to pay the p&p.
They are really helpfull and explain things to you really well.
The number is usually in the games manual.
Btw My warranty had run out and sent mine to be fixed and it only cost me £29-$47.
It had a different problem to yours though but there's no harm in talking to Nintendo.

Okay, this happened to me. Game gets stuck, boom goes all signs of life in the Wii. I talked to the people in Nintendo, and they told me it was the (i think) "power component" that was busted. That's not really important. What is important is that they said it is not really fixable, or at least it's not worth fixing. I was told to just go out and buy a new one. Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear, and there's no guarantee that your incident is the same as mine, but it sounds similar. My advice is to go buy a used one, but talk to Nintendo regardless because they might tell you different. Sometimes you'll even get a compassionate person on the phone, who might give you some kind of deal to make your life easier. Best of luck!

little bit of a pathetic factor to do. besides, the Wii distant is in all probability to repair, you will likely could take it aside and look at it. straightforward suggestion, in case you have an airing cabinet, leave it in there for about an hour, take it out, then supply it a shot. i'm no expert while it contains this style of factor, yet its what I propose.

Send it to them to see what they say. Repairs are 75 dollars out of warranty. If it is not repairable they won't send you a new one due to voided warranty so you will have to get a new one.

better off getting a new one...waste of money and time getting it fixed...it's usually more to get it fixed than to buy another anyways
