Alot of them. Scare me sometimes. Out walking at night i have a flash light. And you know how animal eyes light up in the light. well i cant tell if its a dog or something else due two them fire fles :P

Yes, we have them here in Rhode Island.

Some people call them "lightning bugs". Some people call them "fire flies".

I remember the fire fly population being heavier where I lived when I was a boy in the 1950s.

Oh Teresa I loved them so much, remember as a kid, having a glass mayo jar, with holes poked in the lid and catching them at night, and watching them light up the jar, it was magical, thank you that memory is a wonderful one, of a wonderful innocent time.

Yes, we get them by the ton here in the Midwest. They were very late arriving this year. They are nearly done for the year.

No we don't have them here Teresa♥ But i did see them once about 13 years ago when we went to New Jersey♥ Their so cool♥ i love them♥

I guess we do but i never go out at night..mosquitoes eat me alive..We call them lighting bugs here in the south.
