When is it, if ever, appropriate to sacrifice personal health for the sake of schoolwork?
For example, staying up until 1:00 several nights in a row to finish all your homework or going to school with a bit of a cough. Where do you think one should draw the line?
This is totally hypothetical, by the way.

Haha... 1 AM is chill for students doing the entire IB program. I barely get any sleep. I finished my assignments at 6 AM twice and went to school looking like crap. My school has this thing called "missing assignments" and if you get five of them, you have to go to school on Saturday for detention. And I already managed my time well... it's just the work keeps coming and coming. And I'm not the type of person to just hand in mediocre work. I have never been to one of those detentions but nobody knows how hard it was. I personally sacrifice my health for school but I don't think it's right at all. The teachers don't even listen sometimes. Trust me, half of my class went to see the principal... nothing got better. ;P

maybe taking your program on a part time basis would help. bc if you do not have ur health you do not have anything
