need to find a new place. you think a 450 square feet apt will be big enough for me & my gf plus baby? never been inside one, so don't know

For three people NO WAY!! I lived with my wife and baby in a 1200 square foot apartment and THAT seemed too small. My bedroom that I have now is more than 450....yikes!!!

It is big enough, I live in a 679 square foot home with my husband and our 3 children without any problems and they are 4 and up.

That's small....try for a two BR with a nice size living area and adequate kitchen space. (900 to 1100 sq. ft would be ideal)

If that is what you can afford, you make it work. Babies do not need much for the first year.

That's pretty small.
Babies have been raised in smaller homes, though. If it's what you can afford, then you'll make the best of it.

That is the size of a studio apartment. If you cant afford anything bigger, that will be ok for a while.
