If you can't beat them, join them! ....THEN beat them!
He is not an anarchist. He is all about limited government. He doesn't want 'no government', he wants less Federal Govt and more power to State Governments. What's wrong with that? That adheres to the 10th Amendment (I know, a foreign concept to many since they have been misled about Lincoln and his true history of throwing the wool over the 10th Amendment).
Opposes civil rights act? NO! For one, his son Rand Paul was suckered into that question by the media (as you were too).... two, Ron Paul has never discussed that.
And you really need to revisit the difference between limited government (which is what allowed free market enterprise and subsequently our country to prosperity) and no government.

In my opinion Ron Paul should just give up, accept the fact he isn't a Republican, and join the Libertarian party.
Yes, he'll never become President as a libertarian. But he's not coming to close to winning the Republican nomination now. If he ran as a third-party candidate, he has enough supporters to really stir things up like Ross Perot did. Maybe even moreso.
Oh, and I'm not directly addressing your question because it's ignorant and stupid.

First of all hes not an anarchist, hes a libertarian.
Second of all he opposed the civil rights act of 1974 because it was, in his opinion ignorant because it preached color-blind ignorance. Ron Paul believes we should all celebrate our differences AND be treated equally. Third off, your disparaging remarks are laced with ignorance. Please, educate yourself.
Lastly, Ron Paul is a member of the Republican party because he believes this increases his chances of becoming president.

I oppose the civil rights act because instead of us all operating in equality under the law if you have a **** or brown skin you go to the front of the line.

I do not think Ron Paul is a racist at all.
I think he is a true old time Conservative who has integrity
And I am an older Liberal BTW who has been voting Democrat for many years .

yeah right?! That's exactly what I'm saying.
Let's give Tea Party people a little island with no government and let them live in peace....if they can.
They are people who always complain about something and Ron Paul is their engine.

Then be surprised at how well he runs the economy, I won't be..
