You should typically still be feeding it puppy dog food, because dogs do not become full adults until the first 2 years of their life. Most dogs should eat 2 meals a day. I would give your dog 2 cups of food in the morning, and two in the evening. If your dog seems to not want to eat all of it's food, then you should consider giving it smaller portions.

There are feeding guidelines on the back of the dog food bag. The amount suggested is the TOTAL amount for the day. If you feed twice a day, divide that amount in half. If 3 times a day, divide the amount by 3 for each feeding.
Feed a few kibbles less than what's recommended for your dog's age and weight. A slightly underfed dog is a healthier dog.

They don't require a large amount of feed because they are so small. I used to give my girl a small soft food tin, ie My Dog singles, once a day and have cat biscuits on offer most of the day. Why cat biscuits you ask? Little dogs tend to like them better as they have more flavor then dog biscuits. And of course have water avalible all the time.

Depends on weight of your dog. The side of food bag usually says suggested amount to feed according to weight/age.
