driving under the influence of pot is like driving under the influence of alcohol. You can legally use the substance but you can't drive a car while under the influence. You'd be given a DUI or DWI violation and you'd have serious legal consequences and you might lose your pot card and/or your driver's license.

The medical card only exempts you from state possession laws. If caught driving while under the influence, you can be arrested.

You cannot be in operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of marijuana.
If you are under the influence you will be charged.

Using pot even for medical use and driving is illegal, it is just as dangerous as driving under the influence of alcohol.
