Honda CBR600F1, year 2001?
My kids CBR600F1 keeps showing an F1 light to say that there is a problem, trouble is the code that the manual gives can be a few different things , the bike some times slows quickly as if there was petrol starvation, so any one know what are the common faults with this bike.

the F1 light is not a fault code this just tells you that a fault is there to find this fault code out you may need a dealer mode switch which will tell you what part is at fault
Source(s): i have heard of some people using a wire jumper (length of wire) in place of the proper tool to get access to fault codes you need to check the cbr forums for the correct way to go with this - guardrailjimLv 710 years ago
The owners manual doesn't list the fault codes.
A service manual is needed to learn the process of retrieving codes and how
to decipher them.
The service manual will then give you step by step instructions on how
to replace the defective parts.

Could be a faulty F1 light as I doubt there's a light to warn you that one of your warning lights are faulty. lol
