if what the media reporting is true that he request for a transfer.. what's the point of keeping an unhappy player in a team?

Levy will accept 30mil for him and be able to say "we tried to keep him but there's no point holding on to a player that wants to go"....fair enough cos 30mil is a good price for him, but we really need to get moving in the market or we'll be struggling in mid-table.

i think modric is a great player and if he is unhappy then you should let him go but only for a decent price
you could sell him for 30 million to chelsea who will be willing to pay and you and use the money to buy a world class striker, you midfield will still be great since you have bale, lennon and jenas and palacious (spelling ?)
this deal will benefit tottenham if they let him go
