Why won't my computer remember web sites?
I recently bought a new computer, running Windows 7 (64-bit) and using Firefox. It doesn't remember any of the web sites that I visit (you know, auto-logging me in, etc.) I've looked around in the settings but can't find what to change.

Are you clearing the cookies from those web sites. Check you settings again on your computer and browser making sure their enabled and are not being erased after closing your browser.

set your ie7 like this and try it. its to do with cookies Set up IE7 so it runs efficiently. IE7 (2 minutes) ======= Over time IE7 seems to set its own (or programs do) tick boxes in the advance tab. In IE7 Tools >Internet Options >Advance Tab Click Restore advance settings defaults button. Then scroll the listings down to near the bottom and: 1. Tick empty temp files when browser closes (this empties the cache, which if not empty, will stop you from going online). 2. Bullet disable phishing filter (optional. Leave it on if you want that type of protection, usually for financial data like internet banking) Delete Browser History, cookies, add ons, the whole lot regularly. Close the browser to set the settings.

Firstly, see if there is an upgrade to firefox, if there isn't
Use internet explorer and see if the same problem occurs, if it does
Contact tech support for firefox and/or internet explorer, if that doesn't work
Contact tech support for your computer, if that doesn't work
Try a new web browser, if that doesn't work
You'll have to live without the memory

You need to make sure your cookies are enabled. I don't know anything about Firefox, but type "cookies" in the help box and find out how to enable them.
