Military social worker? ????? please help?

My advice would be to open up your options. It seems like you are doing well in school and AFROTC. I am not quite sure why you are doubting yourself. Although the selection into field training is slim, if you aim high by keeping up that good GPA and physical well being, then you'll be fine. Don't worry about the cutting down of field training slots.

If you don't get in field training to become a commissioned officer, another route you can take in the air force/military to become an officer is to do Officer Training School (OTS) once you get your bachelor's in Social Work. Then once you become a commissioned officer, you can continue to pursue your MSW and LCSW. But for right now, I think you're doing fine. Don't doubt yourself.

If you don't end up joining the military, then you can still obtain your MSW and LCSW. The only difference is you will be in loan debt. But you will still be going on the same route of your journey. So don't worry. Just think of others that don't have what we have in America. You will be okay. Just continue to do well in school and your AFROTC training. If one thing fails, keep moving forward.

you are able to strengthen right into a SWKer later once you get out and use your G I bill, you will get an MOS that's differant and fall back on that inthe civilian international in the adventure that your degree in SWK does nto artwork out.
