how do i save a file on imovie?
im completely new to mac and this is my 1st macbook....how do i save a movie thingy lol? its incomplete btw....

It depends on the version of iMovie. For most versions, it is ⌘ S, or go to the File menu > Save project. If you forget to save it, and close the project window or try to quit iMovie, you get a dialog box that offers three options:
Don't Save / Cancel / Save
iMovie saves your work as a "project". That means a special bundle folder that has the movie and related effects inside. To share a movie file from a project, you go to the "Share" menu and choose the format you want.
The other answer: "Publish" is about putting a movie on a website, such as a MobileMe site. I don't see that option in my iMovie.

when your movie is done publish it, but until then your project will save automatically. (Rate as best)
