How can I get a house or apartment alone?
I'm thinking about moving away from my parents in a few years to live on my own. of couse I'm not running away. I plan on doing living on my own after college.

Well, assuming you're over 18, you can apply for a mortgage and get a house. Or rent a house. Or rent an apartment. But if you're going to a college that isnt a community college, staying in the dorms are much cheaper than spending money on a mortgage or rent. But, I could easily see how one would want their own place! Have fun on your own!
p.s. if you do plan on getting a home of your own, PROTECT IT! Buy a gun! :P

Start looking for places you would want to live and apply, have a deposit which for some places is 1st and last month rent, if your credit is bad prepare to pay higher deposit.
