Witches: I saw a flying brookstick!?

Here's what happened: I visited my neighbors last night because their cat was in my yard again meowing, so I told them to keep it inside or just away from my house. This was around 8. Now, I know they are witches because they have told me. Everytime I complain about the cat the say all this weird stuff and say they will cast a spell on me. Anyway around 1 or so something smashed through my window. I jumped up in a second and flipped on the light to see what had happened. In my floor was broomstick! I went to pick it up and it lifted off the ground and I watched as it literally flew of my window! I have not filed a complaint with the police because I have no proof it was them and they will not believe me. I never believed in this crap until now. This was all last night and I'm really freaked out. No I'm not sometime of crazy. I have a college degree and a good job. What the hell can I do to stop this from happening again? I'm afraid to go talk to them!

Update:

*Broomstick

How do I put this politely?

You're a lying sack of BS.

I am a witch, little boy, and I also have a college degree (several of them) and a good job. Why make up garbage about neighbors?

    *sheeesh*

I advise you to report the incident to the police. Maybe they can lock you up for observation for a while, hmmm?

I will confide in you with complete secrecy because muggles are not supposed to know about this, but here is the deal. Unless your neihbors are evil, they wont do anything to hurt you. Instead of going over their and asking them about the broomstick, tell them that you remembered they were witches and ask them if they could fix your window with their magic. Then offer to have them over for dinner. Become their friends. If they are evil witches, you can file a complaint at the ministry of magic in london. Dont worry, this happens to tons of people.

I would assume they were tricking you. They more than likely threw it at your window and had a string of something of the like to then pull it back to them. They could have rigged it up to make it "fly". I would more easily believe that than an actual levitating broomstick.

I would suggest ignoring them as best you can. If they continue to bother you, file a complaint- I guarantee they won't try any silly hocus pocus with the police.
