Yes Nissan make very good cars. They are well designed and easy to work on and their engines use very little oil even after many thousands of miles I would happily recommend a Nissan to anyone. I have a Nissan R31 Pintara (Its the Australian made version of the Skyline but with a 2 litre 4 cylinder engine) its now 23 years old with 266,000 miles on it (426,000km) and still runs very well and does not blow any smoke

Yes, Nissan builds reliable cars and the majority of them (minus certain generations of the Nissan Sentra) last a long time. They also put various safety features in their cars years ahead of the competition.

Let's put it this way.... Nissan is like the Lexus of luxury vechiles

what that means is... ya Nissan is generally cheaper, but it's like an introduction to a better class

So, ya Nissan's are reliable vechiles in general, you DO get what you pay for when it comes to their models just like everyone else

they get decent fuel about 28mpg / city

Source(s): Edit to millions' answer isn't it ironic you're dissing toyota when you got a peace logo? I have a Corolla, better than any car I've ever owned, not including that fuel guzzling escalade my uncle owns

I've worked on a number of Nissan vehicles and found them to be well engineered and able to take abuse and neglect in stride. I would give consideration to that brand when making a purchase by all means.
