How do I install Windows 2000?

How do I install Windows 2000 from a old hard drive so i can install windows xp dark edition.

the hard drive is 10gb but i have a 360gb. the 10gb is going to be for the os and the 360gb is for the rest of of the stuff for the pc.

Update:

i meant uninstall Windows 2000

    You can't use the installation of an OS (Win 2000) to install an OS. You need the CD & the Key.

    You can not take a HD from a computer(aka the OS)..and install to another computer..only as a peripheral.
