about the 3-5 defense?
i jusst want to know a little bit more about the 3-5 defense tht my team is running. i understand what the line is supposed to look like but i dont understand what the rest of the players are supposed to be doing. i get the main idea of what the linebackers do but i dont know about the defensive ends, corners and safety, if there is one..
there arent five linebackers. there are three and then two players off to the sides of them, im assuming that they're defensive ends but im not sure.

No teams uses 5 linebackers unless they are playing the 1-5-5.
if it was 5-3 then that means 5 lineman, but 3-5 is 5 linebackers.
