What did you think of Rupert Murdoch's wife going crouching tiger hidden dragon on the guy with the pie?

This clip is AMAZING. She not only has the fastest reflexes in the room (by far) but she even manages to sock the guy in his head and turn his own pie on his own face. Rather impressive.

It was classic. I don't think Murdoch could have come out of that hearing with any more positive coverage.

What do you think?

Update:

@mugwump............."You must have misssed the bit when Murdoch looked like he hadn't got a clue what was going on in his company, which was about all of the hearing. Murdoch comes off positive what a laugh, he's finished."

If he didn't have a clue, he can't be implicated. Today went relatively well considering all the hype that came before this hearing. People are talking about his wife, not the fact he didn't really know what the hell was going on at News of the World.

Update 2:

Update 3:

@mugwumps.............I guess it's possible. But I don't foresee him getting convicted of anything (especially not in the United States).

If Pie man wanted to cause serious hurt, she couldn't have done much to stop him. They were lucky he just wanted to share his piece of the pie with Murdoch.

A head of a company is responsible for its actions. The legal term is called willfull blindness, which Murdoch is guilty of, also in the US he could also face prosecution from the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Your probably right. He's in bed with the lawmakers.

  • Yes it was. I wish she could have shoved the pie somewhere else.

And the stereotyping from CNN (Ninja's are Japanese, not Chinese). And injection of corny Chinese Gung-fu movies into the presentation was insulting. If she was black, would they have used stereotyping to increase the entertainment value? I think not.

I agree with you totally. Saw the guy on tv after he was arrested and he certainly looked like he had pie on his face!
