how do i start an ipod touch?
i just got an ipod touch (8GB), my dad sent it to me from the us, he said he already turned it on to make shure it worked,(he didn't use it) but now i cant do anything with it.all i get is a picture of a usb cable pointing to an itunes icon, i touch it but nothing happens, i connect it to my pc, and nothing happens, i installed itunes and i dont know how to use it, ive cheked the instruccions and it says to sync, but i have no idea what that is, is there something i did wrong? or will it not work anymore, and if it will, how can i get it to work like its supposed to?...help?
theres nothing i can do on the ipod touch
also i try to download itunes but it does'nt appear on my computer like it should, i keep downloading it but it does'nt work, i restart my computer but it still does'nt work

You should only have to plug it into you're computer with a iTunes on and it should work. That's what I did..... IDK what to tell you. Try contacting apple. Or restarting the iPod by holding down the Lock(Button at the top) and Home(Circle Button on front) for 10 seconds, or untill it completely shuts off. Then plug it back into a computer with iTunes on and turn it on again, by holding the middle button.
