What are some really fun free game apps I can get on my iPhone?

Kard Combat, a Magic: The Gathering type card game created by the same person as Magic, is pretty good. With the free version, you only get four single-player levels and don't get every card, though. A $3 upgrade gives you ever level, which lets you unlock every single card, or you can just pay $10 (a high price, I know) to unlock everything at once.

There's also PewPew, a Geometry Wars clone. It's really unforgiving (Difficulty ramps up fast, and there's no moment of invincibility after getting hit, so you can lose all your shields and lives very rapidly if there are a lot of enemies swarming around you), but it's fun for a free game. Totally worth a download.

Also, if you're into the stranger games, Unpleasant Horse. It's made by PopCap, the company that made Peggle, Bejeweled, Plants vs Zombies, and several other famous "casual" games, but this is as far from casual as you can get. It's violent, rather disturbing in some ways, and absolutely hilarious. I highly recommend it.
