"drumstick" in an Indian recipe...?

When a recipe from India lists an ingredient by the single word "drumstick", does that mean a chicken leg drumstick? It doesn't quite make sense in the recipe I am looking at, which is a curry gravy for clams.

Thanks for your input.

"Drumstick" in India is a type of squash-like vegetable that looks like a very elongated and thin bitter melon. You can sometimes find it frozen in Indian groceries. If you can't find it, you can try substituting zucchini (courgettes).
