Questions about make-up?

Hi, I'm 16 and I'm going to buy makeup for the first time, what would you recommend for medium dark skin (Jamaican/Black)? I want to go with a natural look. Thanks in advance :)

If your 16 I'm guessing you skin is probably in good health, even with acne of blemishes your skin can still be healthy. I would recommend a concealer for problem areas but nothing too heavy. You don't want to look to made up. Try a dark liner (gel with a procession brush is best) line your "wet line" on the bottom and top lashes. for right now, I would pick something like a peachy or pastel lavender and sweep it over just the hood of your lids....a little mascara and clear gloss...not too much but just enough! Good luck!

  • If you're going to buy make-up for the first time, go into a store and ask for advice. They'll know exactly what colours will suit your skin tone. Plus it means you can try a lot of different products. xD
