In your bathroom, is the toilet lid* usually up or down?

I've always wondered why women want the seat down- at least if it's up, you know nobody peed on it.

Anyway, when the lid is down is how I know the toilet probably needs to be cleaned, because my roommate would rather not look at it than scrub it out himself.

Always down, I have small animals that could easily drown.

If everyone puts the lid down, everyone has something to raise for use.

Mine is always down it irritates me to see the lid up too.

always down..but either way...i usually have a surprise in the morning from my boyfriend....it always ends up with a wet a55 tho hahaha (from sitting on a wet seat or falling in from the seat being left up)

Up during the night time hours and down during the day.

Down.....and I give anyone hell who leaves it up....I lost a cat once cuz he kept drinking out of the toilet.

(cleaning chemicals poisoned him)....I'm not gonna let that ever happen again.

maybe people don't like to touch the lid every time they go in the bathroom and pull it up, so they just leave it up... js
