How will the military get paid if the Repubs don't raise the debt limit?

My husband is serving in Afghanistan now...

The president doesn't care about paying those who fight in this war.... he only cares about his pay check and if he get's re-elected. You know I hope that everyone remembers these things when it comes time to vote... I definitely hope that all the military members vote against him...

What really upsets me is that people keep telling me he's such a great president and he's only trying to fix the screw ups of previous presidents.

The truth is... if they take our pay... we could lose everything!

ALSO! For those who are saying we are going to be paid... I checked my husband's AKO which is basically a statement about his pay... we will be receiving half our pay on the first!

Not raising the debt limit does NOT mean there is no money

The same tax revenue that's has been coming in, will continue to come in each month

2. Monthly tax revenue is more than enough to pay for SS, Medicare, medicaid, VA, all federal salary's , including the military and the debt interest

3. It just just plain scare tactics when they tell people otherwise.

Military members will be paid. And if they don't, it is hardly the republican party's fault. You could thank Mr. Obama and his pork-infested spending scheme for any lack of funds.

The democratic party doesn't understand that you can't continue spending money that the country doesn't have.

The President is who would decide what the priorities are when doling out the money

Ops thee goes that very important issue called National Security. Gee whose gonna protect us from the known and unknown terrorist? Because like Donald Rumfield said; there are known, and unknowns; and some unknown-knowns, Wait a minute, its only important when they are in power. What was I thinking.

I like how Republicans hold the purse strings and run the country. This is news to me.
