In Wilt's era, no one other than Bill Russell could stand up to him. Of course he just steam rolled through the other teams. Jordan played in an era that was millions of times more competitive. He had to deal with the likes of Malone and Stockton, Hakeem, Patrick Ewing, Chuck Barkley, and others. And since MJ and Wilt averaged the same amount of points over their careers, but MJ was in a more competitive era, I think Jordans obviously better.

Wilt Chimberlain was one of the greatest NBA players of all time but would never in a million years be as good as Jordan.
