What do you think of my favorite names?

My thoughts:-

Caroline - This is pretty, had has a great retro southern American feel to the name. Caroline is really retro oozing class and simplicity with the nickname Carly or Carrie it's a very nice vintage name.

Abigail - I dislike Abigail I think the 'gail' part just sounds really harsh and ugly. Where as the Abby part is charming and simply sweet. I think this name is better without the gail part and simply using the nickname is better than the original.

Madeleine - This name is a lovely French classic, becoming popular understandably but still it's really pretty and the name looks so classy especially with this spelling. I like this a lot.

Rosalyn - I love 'rose' and it's variants including this the name looks really effortless and pretty I like it a lot especially with the nickname Rosie.

Paisley - Dislike it doesn't really go with what I like for girls names which is very feminine classics.

Colton - This name is cool it has this great vibe and looks really masculine I love the name! Colton looks very cool and the potential nickname of Cole is very cool too.

Caleb - Again a lovely biblical name it looks great and sounds very handsome it looks very lovely, however unlike Colton its becoming popular especially in the states.

Matthew - Incredibly simple, the simplicity of this classics makes the name appealing it's really handsome and works for all ages.

Jackson - Ah the beloved Jackson! Jackson is really cool and handsome I like it especially with the nickname Jack.

Easton - Reminds me of the female hormone - oestrogen - apart from that it's ok

Caroline: it's okay. I think it's too common now. I know around 6+ Carolines. And I don't like the nickname Carol.

Abigail: I love the nickname Abby, but I just don't like the full name Abigail. :-/ Abbey is a name on its own, too.

Madeleine: I love this name, and I love the French spelling. Madelyn just doesn't appeal to me. I don't like -lyn names or -yn names.

Rosalyn: Like I said, I don't like the -lyn. And I prefer the pronunciation Rose-uh-lyn. Like Rosalie.

Paisley: I hate it. Sorry. What about Paige?

BOYS:

Colton: kinda cool. Unique.

Caleb: nice. I wouldn't use it if the biblical association bothers you.

Matthew: nice. Love the nn Matt.

Jackson: tbh it makes me think of Michael Jackson, and it is a surname. Too last-namey (haha) for me.

Easton: pretty much same as above.

I think all your girl names are pretty and classic, if rather commonplace...with the exception of Paisley. It's trendy, tacky, and just as country as Luanne. Caroline has southern charm, but it's not trailer trash to me. Caroline is my favorite. You might like Lillian (or Lily), Ella, Rosalie, Emmeline, Charlotte, Violet, etc.

Your boy names are just eh. Boring.

I like Rosalyn and Madeleine but not caleb
