i really want to have a go at boxing?
but im really self concious of my upper body im 17 but i would prefer not to take my top off. but i always see boxers with their tops offs is it like a rule? i would much prefer to keep my top on.

as an amateur you dont need to take your top off. you fight with a cutoff sleeve shirt. its only at the pro level that you are required to go topless unless you are a girl, or a guy with man boobs. then im sure they might make an exception for you. go amateur if you want to go shirts.

I dont see anyone with their top off in my gym
if you really want to become a boxer then stop being so self conscious and find a gym.
