I don't have an answer and I don't know how she died I just wanted to say something. It doesn't matter who you are or how you died you meant something to someone. whether it was drugs, alcohol or natural circumstances death is death stop laughing they are gone and they are never coming back.

But police are not sure what caused this sudden tragedy, but it was most likely because of an overdosed. Amy Winehouse has dealt with many drug and alcohol probelms, she went rehab more than 3 times! But its a real bad thing that she had to die this early!

There has been lots of rumors. Apparently there was a wild party on the Friday night prior to her death. However that claims have been dismissed. Although I can't tell you how she died as it's yet to be confirmed as to what caused if. Her minder who has been in her employment for several years confirmed that she had commented on being tired and said she was off to have a lie down. When he went through to waken her she was unresponsive. He then immediately called a ambulance.

Maybe there was a party the night before as she was found at 4.05pm. She must have had a busy night before or she was feeling unwell. Let's face it nobody goes to bed that early unless they have had a very active night before or exhausting day, or unwell or elderly. I feel sorry for her father who had tried many a time to get his little girl clean. Everybody foretold her death but for it to actually arrive and for it to be so soon has shocked everybody. I just hope this might be a eye opener to the younger generations that think drugs are cool. I think the celebs taking drugs glamorizes it and even if it saves one more persons life that something good will come out of this mess.

I do know as a previous drug user myself (I started to take opiates at 18 and have been clean for 7 years. I am now 27 in August. All it took for me was the help of my family. Shortly after I got clean I found a good job and met my hubby there. A year later we had a daughter. I seen no reason to go back to where I was before as I had everything I was missing before. Even 8 months after I was clean I was admitted to hospital for 4 months due to the damage I had already done to my body. If was slowly infecting my whole body. I had Bactria in the heart valve, kidney failure, blood clots in my lungs and legs and blood poisoning. That was 8 months after being clean this happened. I am still paying now as I am not a 100% right. It's not worth it. I was young and stupid back then. If I had not got help I dread where I'd be today. Dead probably as I doubt drug taking on the damage I had already done would have helped one bit.

It may be Amy had been clean for a few weeks. She had thought her tolerance was what it used to be and took to much and Overdosed. Or she might have had a illness due to her drinking and drug taking like I did but it was unknown. I do know some heroin has been cut with anthrax. I do know whatever the outcome is that we look at the talented person she was and not just the drugs and drink.

However she died, the world has lost a huge music talent, and a loving daughter, you cannot have the talent Amy had without the insecurities that led Amy to her early death,she was in an industry so rife with drug and alcohol abuse that her lifestyle was acceptable which led to her downfall, she was just to young

Remember her for the amazing music she performed, and hope that maybe an Amy Winehouse Foundation could help other high profile starsfrom dying the same early death!

Well no one knows..an autopsy of her body is taking place tomorrow but the police say its unprofessional of them to reveal the reason behind her death straight away.

But we do know that she was found in the afternoon alone in her flat and died on the spot so im guessing she overdosed or had a heart attack/stroke/medical trauma from her drinking /drugs, this is the most common perception but

PERSONALLY i believe that she may of commited SUICIDE, because she was mentally ill ( she had bipolar disorder) wasnt happy ( her recent comeback tour was a disaster) and their was no one their to stabilise her at this traumatic time, and she knew she wasnt going to live much longer because of her addiction and I guess she was at a really down and unhappy period in her life and the bipolar disorder emphasised this.

To anyone that says it was her own fault because she was a druggie... addiction is a poweful demon that can destroy the best in anyone and she was mentally ill too, she knew it was killing her yes but she obviously couldnt get better because her HEART AND HEAD WERE IN SUCH A BAD PLACE :-(

I think this proves money cant buy you happiness.

No matter what happened it is a very saddening loss and she will be missed by her fans, her voice was unique but unfortunatly it came with a troubled soul </3 RIP AMY.

It's still unknown about how Amy Winehouse died at the moment. Most likely, her death was caused by one/two things; Sudden overdose on medication, or Aftereffects on potent/harmful drugs. Looking back at her controversial past, some form of drugs probably had a connection to her death. Unfortunately, we won't exactly know until word comes out form officials/experts.

I am assuming that it was an overdose of some sort although that has not been released. I guess I hoped the best for her and just hoped that she would get clean one day. She had such a great opportunity but sometimes that doesn't matter. I have a cousin about her age. He is as skinny as her with no anorexia problems but with addictions and mental problems. He had talents, not like hers but he could have made it somewhere. But sometimes they just don't fight the addiction. They let it take over. I feel for her and her family. I know how it is. Im scared for my family because just because someone is an addict doesn't stop them from being your son or daughter or friend or sister or brother etc. But they have to do it themselves. They have to want it BAD. And that is hard. People look at people like Amy and they just don't understand her. And that radio voice guy (I don't know his name). Its not easy to overcome an addiction just because you have money. Its not about the money. Money is just the way to get your high. It just makes it easier when you have more of it. She is gone now. And it isn't funny. And it isn't just a waste of talent. It is a waste of life. Im sure her family would be fine if she was a normal girl or just getting by with no talents if she was happy and drug free and ALIVE. And she wasn't a waste of a life because she was an addict. She meant something to a lot of people. People are so cruel behind these screens. So pathetic.

No one is really sure how she died yet because it’s early days, and I expect that the will announce the real cause of her death some time tomorrow (24/07/2011). However The Met Police Report conforming Amy Winehouse's death on BBC news said; “It is a suspected drug over dose, but no post-mortem has yet taken place and there for it would be inappropriate to speculate the cause of death".

All you idiots who say things like, "oh well she was an addict, she deserved to die", and "well I have no sympathy for her, if you want to get involved with drugs then you know what you're getting into."

Total bosh, addiction is a mental illness and always has been and unfortunately it's usually our most talented members of society who fall ill to this dreadful illness.

Society is still in the dark ages and holds addiction in contempt, as if it's a choice! It's Jo more of a choice than dying from cancer, heart disease or stroke, or breast cancer etc.

Anyone who hasn't suffered addiction has no idea how difficult it is, you can't just "stop" something, and the reason why you're using it in the first place has a very deep genetic and socio-psychological basis.

Wow I can't believe people. Why do you automatically assume that she has died due to alcohol and drugs that's redumb! I mean yes she may have died of an Over dose maybe it was suicide or murder my point is no one knows and you shouldn't make assumptions. By the way miss Amy has joined the 27 club along with Janis Joplin, Morrison, Hendrix, and Cobain!!! Rip amy
