my friend Madina recently told me she's been shoplifting, she hasnt been caught yet. but i'm really worried about her. what would happen if she was caught?

Well I got caught in California and I had to pay back the full amount of the value of the merchandise I was caught with, and then extra. And I had to go to court and was assigned many community service hours (very humiliating!) and am banned from that particular store for life.
