My Mother is going to the hospital because she thinks she may have a heart attack. I'm trying to stay calm?
She apparently had symptoms that some people have before they have a heart attack. I am trying to stay calm but I am home alone and don't know what to do. Not that there is anything I can do, I'm just scared.

Your mom is not going to die I promise, the heart attack may not even happen and if it does, at least she caught it early and she can get immediate medical attention. Don't worry people will commonly go through this sometimes in there life. She's going to be okay, and when she comes back she'll be back to normal.

Just stay distracted and know everything will be ok. When i cant keep my mind off something thats messing with me i do anything i can to not think about it. Try going for a walk. those always calm me when im depressed and thinking of stuff thats going on. I know it helps some people to think about it for a few min. Allow yourself to think about it for a few min then maybe you wont want to as much after. Go on facebook and talk to someone too.

I'm sure you Mum will be fine. If you are in North America, you will know that much of the countries are under severe heat conditions. That can cause stress, thus causing people to worry and get uptight. Ring the Hospital where she went to, and ask the proper Nurse for her status update, and best of luck.

Happened with me. If you're religious, occupy yourself by praying, your worry should be converted to that. If not, you could also call a friend and just talk to that person meanwhile, not necessarily this the whole time. (worked for me) Remember to keep breathing deeply and stay positive. Everything will be fine.

Sit. Wait. And contact the person who took her to the hospital. If you believe in god then pray for her

Mable you better take care of yourself and learn deep breathing and meditation, or your Mom won't have someone to help her when she comes home.
