Are the PRC and the US on good terms?

Okay, so I'm really confused. I just read that there is a Republic of China and the People's Republic of China. Now, The Peoples Reupublic of China and the US on good terms? Or are we still hated by China?

In early 70's, under President Richard Nixon, Henry Kissinger then US secretary of state did what called shutter diplomacy, which leading to a normalisation of relations between the US and the People's Republic of China, commonly known and China. The Republic of China, commonly known as Taiwan, resulting from the normalisation of relations, the US recognises only one China that is the PRC and not Taiwan. This also resulting in the dismembership of Taiwan from the United Nations replaced by China in 1971. The Hypocrisy remains however that the US sanction in many ways to ensure Taiwan independence, as a de facto state, despite under one China, Taiwan would be one of China's provinces.

Are US in good term with PRC? That is an interesting question. After the normalisation of relations between the US and China; at the time under the US policy that seen as taking the Chinese card out of the equation because the US was engaging with war inside Vietnam, it led to the withdrawal of US troops from Vietnam; and Cambodia: with the famous line by Kissinger: "Peace with dignity". The relations between China and the US had been cordial ones.

Recently, the Chinese President visited the US and met with the US President, and the reception was grand and relations were very very close; despite several differences here and there, especially in economic terms that there were several exchanges of words on the US side suggesting China should do somethings with its trade surpluses especially with the US; one thing suggested by US Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner for the Chinese Yuan to be stronger. Recently, US Secretary of State Clinton also intervene verbally on the problems in South China seas over the issue of Spratly Island, said to be endowed largely with oil and precious minerals. The issues on Spratly ends quite nicely with the meeting between the two foreign ministers after the ASEAN meeting in Indonesia last week, although not much details were given, but it is said that a common ground has been reached between disputed parties within the ASEAN framework.

No, you are not hated by the Chinese.

How long will it take the percentto earnings on Taiwan's occasion of non violent evolution in Human Rights? How long is a bite of string? you have used a rhetorical question as an advent to a political assertion. Yahoo solutions is desperate as much as supply solutions to questions, as adversarial to a talk board to introduce a political talk.
