Hi, I am 15 and I have been smelling this horrid smell for a while. It started out as a smokey smell, and now it is this really harsh chemical smell. It smells like pool cleaner, chlorine, bleach, mayonnaise, and something really harsh that I can not explain.

Here is the weird part- NO ONE else smells it. Not one person, they all think that I shouldn't be complaining... so nothing has been done about it. I'm really at the end, I just can't take it anymore.

Another strange thing, I only smell it when I enter the room, and then it fades after about 30 seconds, and there seems to be no source. Oh, and sometimes, if I have been gone for like a week or the weekend, I won't smell it when I come back until like an hour later.

What should I do? I might just have to move out and move with my grandma... but I really don't want to give everything that I have up to move just because of this smell.

Okayi know it's bad, I don't plan on doing it ever agin but I starved myself for about a week ( I got some calories by drinking protein powder drinks & tea)... How can I get my metabolism back up again? Just eat a little, and then eat more and more everyday?

I know that the tablet has took a HUGE HUGE toll on the PC business... People are saying that this is now the POST-PC age and PC's are going to fade away. But I can't see this happening because huge companies like WalMart and the US Government can't use tablets to launch missiles and to keep all of there data on.. And people can't make Hollywood movies and design cars from tablets, either.

So everything is getting so thin. Apple has made the thinnest laptop in the world, and it's just going to get even thinner in the coming years. Same with the iPads, and iPhones. As well as all the other electronics in the world... what's going to happen when they possibly can't get any thinner? How thin are things going to get.... like even the hard drives and the cameras

Also, whats going to happen when things can't get any faster or will there always be a need for things to get faster because of the more demanding content?

I forgot all about South America and all it's Latin American countries when it came to war and importance in the world. (Africa, too).. But are most sout American countries close or allied with the US? I would think so, I mean we are basically the same, we all lie in the famous Americas.

My mom called me today and said my grandma was just diagnosed with stage 1 bone cancer today! :( she suffered from a heart attack about a year go and now this... I'm just so worried about it because she's old, about 73 and I just dint think she will be able to handle this,... But is stage 1 bone cancer easy to cure? I'm assuming stage 1 isn't that bad, but it's good that it got detected I'm sure. That's allmy mom told me over the phone, and she said my grandma doesn't like to talk about it at all but they already have or are going to do some kind of treatment.. That's all they told me,.., so do wei really have anything to worry about. Like it coming back or something.???

Okay so here is the deal: For my birthday I just want to get my room redone. My budget is probably around 300 dollars or 400 tops. At first I wanted mainly to have my ceiling covered (neatly and professionaly), like Bob Marley, Wiz Khalifa, Scarface, pictures of London, NY city, and things like that. And then to get a mini fridge, some speakers, a new like glass desk, a cheap standing lamp, and some salt lamps. That's really all that I wanted. And some new curtains and bed sheets and things like that. Well, now I think I want my room re-done in a London theme. I love the red buses, and the modern city part. Things like that. Or I might do my room done in a theme of places around the world, like NY city, San Fran, Paris, Tokyo, and London. But I really like the London idea the most. So what are some ideas for my room to make it more themed like London or places around the world?

I know this question may sound really weird and confusing, but I don't really know how to get my ideas down right. Lol,

I'm thinking aobut getting my room de done for my birthday, and I want posters NICELY mounted across the ceiling, like not all tacky, professionally done. Now, I like having my room LIGHT and kinda bright, not evil looking. Would having posters on the ceiling have an effect on the room lighting at all? My walls are white and I have a ceiling fan that lights the whole room. Thanks.

Okay, so I'm getting my room re done for my birthday. Money isn't really an issue as my stepfather is wealthy. The only things that I have on my list right now is: wireless speakers (not expensive ones, cheaper ones), a glass table to put infront of my TV that's on the wall for putting my Apple TV box and PS3 on, a mini fridge (he owns a lot he owns a pawn shop), and I think I want my ceiling to be completely made of posters. Like the ceiling be covered in posters. Lol.... Anyother ideas? And do you think that the posters on the ceiling would make the room any darker? I like having a light, brither room, not a dark one.

The US and Canada are very similar. We hae similar size, even though Canada is a little bigger. We have just about the same rights, and same freedoms. The same cultures, races, and infrastructure. Almost identical militaries. Heck, on the boarder parts of Canada, most places except US dollars.

I know that some poeple would disagree with this, but I think it would be for the better. More people, more land, more weapons, more military power, and a more powerful country. I am not talking about the start of a New World Order, so don't exaterate and take it so far.

So give me the reasons of why and why not.

Also, again, don't be harsh, I'm only 14...So I don't have a mature way of thinking like most of the world. I am just a really curious average American kid who can't sleep, so I spend my sleepless nights writing for money, and reading about world affairs. Lol.

I know that America has stuck it's nose in places it shouldnt. We think we are the police of the world. But I have heard that people in CHINA, somewhat Russia, and europe think of Americans as lazy, stupid people and hate us all. I don't agree with this. That's fine, they can hate the US GOVERNMENT, which by the way, ever Americans hate, but they shouldn't hate americans. Seriously.

So do the chinese really hate us? and what about the Russians? and the Euros?

I always thought that the US's strongest and friendliest ally would be Canada. I mean hey, we are so close together, never really have problems, and are just about the same. Canada and the US are soooo similar. So how close is Canada and the United States? are we good allies, or becoming more negative?

I'm just wondering, because I think one day the US and Russia could become allies. Maybe not China and the US, but then again Russia and China are like BFF'S. So what are the possibilities that Russia and the US or China and the US can become allies?

China is becoming a superpower again because there economy is booming right now. I know that soooo many US businesses have factories in China. Even the biggest company in the world, Apple (if you don't belive me look it up, lol) , produce everything in China! So if the US was really really in danger and the US businesses decided to give up a little and produce things back in the US OR DIFFERENT countries like Mexico, wouldn't China go back down fast?

Okay, so I'm really confused. I just read that there is a Republic of China and the People's Republic of China. Now, The Peoples Reupublic of China and the US on good terms? Or are we still hated by China?

I am French, and my half brother and bestfriend are Italian. I get sick of every single italian always bragging all the time about how great Italy is. They say the French suck in war because of their passed surrenders. But lets not forget who helped the US win it's independance, is the fourth most powerful country in the world, and is one of the five nuclear powers. What does italy have? oh...

I don't know why people keep talking about France always surrendering and stuff. They surrendered in their recent wars. but also have won many. Lets not forget who ruled half the world...In the Caribbean, South America, Canada, THE US, Half of Africa, many colonies in Asia, a peice of Antarcitca, a lot of Europe, and parts of Asia. And Nepolian. And without the French, we would not have won the war against Britian, and would be under UK control. Oh, and currently there are ONE OF THE FIVE NUCLEAR POWERS, AND THE FOURTH MOST POWERFUL COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD. I'm sick of hearing how terrible France is. My family is French, but only a little. But it really offends my grandpa. I mean come on, they are with the BIG BOYS. CHINA, RUSSIA, THE US, AND FRANCE are currently the most powerful.
